The Ottawa Conference, held this year in Perth, Australia, explores the continuum of health care education and assessment, with sessions covering undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing education. The Conference offers two streams: assessment of competence in medicine and the health care professions internationally; and education in the health care professions. This year, Dr. Debra Sibbald, Executive Director of Assessment Programs at Touchstone Institute, will be presenting her poster, Validating a "Fit-for-Purpose" Competency Screening Examination for International Graduating Optometrists.
